RG: Murilo is an art project situated in an imaginary intersection of ethnography, electronic music, video and literature.
It consists on putting my poems and beats together to create dancing poems which are also represented on video.
As a poet, I am mostly interested in politicizing my emotions, merging personal memories or fictional histories with the pressing issues of the present, while my danceable music aims to invite people to accelerate their moves towards a fairer future.
To The Fascist’s Friend is the first RG: Murilo’s release.
The poem is a letter to one who has been captivated by violently irrational acts and thoughts set by politicians, intellectuals and influencing individuals or groups.
In the video, two proto-fascists walk around the city amidst everyone else without being noticed.
“Um Grifo-pedrês (A Ruppell’s Vulture)” is the second RG:Murilo’s release.
